Rich McIver Selected as One of America’s Top 40 Attorney Under 40
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HOUSTON – McIver Brown PLLC is proud to announce that Rich McIver, partner handling medical malpractice and nursing home abuse cases, was selected as one of America’s “Top 40 Trial Lawyers Under 40 ” for 2011 by the National Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. McIver, 30, is one of the youngest attorneys to be selected for this national award. He is featured, along with other selected attorneys, in a special issue of the National Trial Lawyers Association publication which is currently available.
“Given Rich’s recent spate of high profile medical malpractice settlements, and his role in achieving the largest nursing home verdict in Texas for 2011, it isn’t altogether surprising that he was selected. Given how few attorneys were chosen for the award, however, its still an honor for our firm to now have two attorneys selected” said Charles Brown, McIver Brown Partner.
When interviewed about the Award, Mr. McIver stated, “Being recognized by the attorneys and board who comprise the National Trial Lawyer’s Association is a real honor for me individually. Much of the credit is really due, however, to the hard work and enthusiasm of our entire firm, especially the trial team in serving our clients.”
The “Top 40 Under 40” award, given by the National Trial Lawyers Association is a national recognition of the top 40 attorneys who display excellent qualifications, trial results, and leadership in their area of law as young lawyers under the age of 40. Selections are based on a multi-phase process that includes peer nominations combined with third-party research. The final result is a credible, comprehensive and impressive list of leading young attorneys chosen to represent their state.
Rich McIver provides legal representation for individual clients and their families across a broad array of medical malpractice and nursing home abuse issues including birth trauma, paralysis, failure to diagnose, and failure to treat, and neglect.
