Niti Shah is an experienced medical malpractice trial attorney. As a former medical malpractice defense attorney with Fulbright & Jaworski, Niti worked in the firm’s medical malpractice group.
Niti joined the McIver Brown Law Firm because of a desire to help individual clients who have been harmed, neglected or abused by the healthcare system. In her years of practice, she has helped clients in both the prosecution and defense of matters in the court system, before mediators, and in arbitration proceedings.
Experience: Niti’s experience and knowledge includes cases involving hospital malpractice, pharmaceutical litigation, medical products liability, nursing home malpractice, physician malpractice, and nursing malpractice. Additionally, Niti has handled significant lawsuits involving plaintiffs and hospitals, negotiated settlements both inside and outside mediation, and has repeatedly published articles on specialty issues in medical malpractice law.
Personal:
Niti, a native Texan, when not advocating on behalf of her clients calls south central Houston home. Her newborn baby, Kiran, keeps Niti and her husband Sanjeev busy around the clock. Niti is an active supporter of the American Heart Association along with many of the charities here.
License & Education: Niti obtained her J.D. with Honors from Baylor University, where she was Assistant Editor of the Baylor Law Review and won several awards at state and regional moot court competitions. She graduated with Highest Honors with degrees in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from The University of Texas.
Niti is licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas. She is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas.
