Rich McIver focuses his practice exclusively on medical malpractice and nursing home abuse litigation on behalf of McIver Brown. In addition to representing clients, Rich serves as the firm's business director.
John Brothers focuses his practice on nursing home abuse, medical malpractice and personal injury matters. An experienced litigator with a reputation for straight talking and a track-record of success, John enjoys the opportunity to fight on behalf of justice for individual victims.
Robert focuses exclusively on medical malpractice trial work. In his practice, he has represented the families of injured and deceased elderly patients that were negligently treated in nursing homes.
Jessica Hughes is an associate with the McIver Brown Law Firm. She serves as the firms principle counsel on matters relating to patient privacy and HIPAA. In that role she advances litigation by understanding and enforcing laws pertaining to medical records and the production thereof.
Sheila Tan is an associate attorney with the McIver Brown Law Firm. In that role Ms. Tan assists in the prosecution of the firm’s Texas docket of nursing home abuse, birth trauma and medical malpractice cases.
Tim Gordon is the Senior Case Manager at McIver Brown. Tim works with potential new clients and reviews case facts and medical information to determine how McIver Brown can best meet the clients litigation needs. His team also coordinates intake contracts and medical information from clients.

David Paley serves as the Senior Designer and Media Manager at McIver Brown Law Firm. In this position, he is responsible for the creation and management of proprietary media including print advertising, websites, and social media, as well as managing relationships with third-party media outlets.
Nicole Stendebach serves as the Staff Writer at McIver Brown. In this role, she reviews medical records and other discovery in the firm’s nationwide nursing home and medical malpractice cases, and creates detailed case summaries for review by firm attorneys and experts.
Andrea Zarikian serves as a Summer Associate at McIver Brown. In this role, she assists law firm partner, John Brothers in advancing his Texas nursing home abuse and medical malpractice clients lawsuits. Specifically, Andrea researches relevant case law, as well as prepares documents in anticipation of hearings, depositions, mediations and trials.
Charles Brown is an experienced medical malpractice trial attorney. Formerly, as an attorney with Fulbright & Jaworski, Charles focused his practice exclusively on medical malpractice. In over a decade of practice, he has helped clients in both the prosecution and defense of matters in the court system, before agencies, and in alternative dispute proceedings.
Niti Shah is an experienced medical malpractice trial attorney. As a former medical malpractice defense attorney with Fulbright & Jaworski, Niti worked in the firm's medical malpractice group.
Dana Helms is an associate attorney with McIver Brown. Her work is focused primarily on the firm's Texas nursing home abuse and medical malpractice dockets.
Lauren Schultz is an associate attorney with McIver Brown. She works as part of the firm’s team of attorneys handling national nursing home abuse and neglect docket.
Cindy Young is the senior litigation paralegal and support services at McIver Brown. In that role she works with attorneys to advance the litigation process through managing discovery, preparing for trial, leading client relations, and interacting with experts and healthcare providers..
Loraine is the senior legal nurse/midwife at McIver Brown law firm. Her role is to review and analyze medical records, with a focus on standard of care issues. Loraine works closely with medical experts and attorneys to ensure professional advancement of the case throughout the litigation process.
Bianca works as a Legal Assistant at McIver Brown Law Firm. In that role she classifies and organizes incoming documents as well as assists with firm finances and accounting.
Cristine Pohl serves as a Case Manager at McIver Brown. As a part of her position she assesses the cases of potential new clients in order to determine whether McIver Brown will be able to assist them with their potential case.
Megan Daic is a Summer Associate with the McIver Brown Law Firm. In that role she assists Senior Associate, Robert Wharton, who focuses exclusively on nursing home abuse and medical malpractice trial work.
